Daycare for Children from Birth to 5 Years Old

At Beginning of Imagination Learning Center, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where they can grow, explore, and discover their full potential. We proudly serve children from birth to five years old, providing high-quality early care and education that supports the whole child — socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.

Our program is built on the understanding that children learn best through play, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences. We create learning opportunities that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

About

My name is Gbessay Graham

Owner/Principal

My passion for early childhood education stems from a deep belief that the earliest years of life shape who children become. I founded Beginning of Imagination Learning Center to create a nurturing space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn, and where families feel supported and heard. I have witnessed firsthand how nurturing relationships, intentional learning environments, and strong partnerships with families can have a lasting impact on a child’s confidence, development, and love for learning—especially through watching my nieces and nephews grow during their early years. This center reflects my commitment to honoring each child’s individuality, supporting the development of the whole child, and building a caring community where imagination, growth, and meaningful connections come together. Driven by this passion and a desire to deepen my understanding of whole-child development, I pursued higher education and earned my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from Concordia University.

Why Choose Beginning of Imagination?

We believe every child’s mind is filled with wonder, creativity, and endless possibilities. Our learning center is a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and confident as they explore and grow. We understand how important the early years are and approach each day with care, intention, and respect for young minds. Through imagination, play, and meaningful experiences, we encourage our little learners to be proud of who they are and to discover the world around them with curiosity and confidence.

Care for the Development and Well-being of the Whole Child

At Beginning of Imagination Learning Center, we are committed to supporting the development of the whole child. We recognize that children grow and learn best when their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative needs are nurtured together—not in isolation.

Our program is grounded in the belief that each child is unique, capable, and deserving of an environment that honors their individuality, strengths, interests, and developmental pace.

Clear Communication with Parents

At Beginning of Imagination Learning Center, we are committed to maintaining open, respectful, and ongoing communication with families. We believe that strong partnerships between parents and educators are essential to a child’s growth and well-being. Through daily interactions, regular updates, and scheduled conferences, we strive to keep families informed, engaged, and involved in their child’s experiences. We value parents’ insights and welcome collaboration, recognizing that consistent communication between home and school supports each child’s development and success.

Quashira M, RI

"My son has been attending this daycare since he was about 10 months old, and he is now 18 months, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. His teacher is absolutely amazing. She works so well with him and truly cares about his development. Every day, I can see how much he is learning and growing under her care. He often comes home showing me new things he learned that day, which makes me so happy as a parent. It’s clear that she puts a lot of love, patience, and effort into teaching the children. I feel confident and grateful knowing my son is in such great hands."
